In honor of their mixed faiths, I incorporated language & elements that payed homage to their differing backgrounds & belief systems, while also honoring all the common threads woven throughout.
Their Handfasting was performed w/ a beautiful creation they crafted (of three malas of 108 beads each) & the Unity Sand portion of their ceremony was another special touch that helped make it feel completely customized & relevant to them. So happy to have a dozen intimate wedding gatherings on the books for the remainder 2020 & looking forward to the blessing of meeting and celebrating w/ more beautiful humans like these two! As things open up, safety measures are being taken AND small elopements & intimate gatherings are starting to flow! Some had courthouse appointments cancel on them while others were informed by their venues that they needed to reschedule to yet-unknown future dates. Still others, chose to postpone their special day in order to protect their elders and at risk guests. My heart goes out to those adversely affected although I’m hopeful to hear that, amidst uncertainty, venues are kindly floating deposits and working hard to reschedule dates. Still, many couples have already obtained marriage licenses that’ll expire before their new ceremony date. If you, or those you know, plan for a larger gathering later but wish to be wed now, then let me know and I’d be happy to do the honors! I can travel to you or to most any location of choice- think waterfall elopement, babbling brook ring ceremony, flowing riverside vow exchange, backyard bonfire union etc. and sealing it all with a kiss amidst the... you fill in the blanks!   Amidst the snow, my crocuses are in bloom & the busy wedding season is upon us!
